Description
The 2GIG GB100-345 is a fully supervised, tamper-protected, ceiling- or wall-mounted, wireless glass break detector. It utilizes a dual-stage glass break detection method that listens for both the impact of an object hitting the glass (“thud”) and the sound of the glass shattering (“crash”). This helps to minimize false alarms triggered by sounds similar to breaking glass. The sensor transmits in encrypted mode by default and can be set to unencrypted mode via an onboard switch.
Features:
- Intelligent detection of glass types: plate, tempered, laminated or coated
- Dual stage thud and crash detection algorithm mitigates false alarms and ensures reliable notification
- Enhances safety by detecting glass shattering noise in a 15 foot radius
- User-adjustable sensitivity settings to reduce false alarms in noisy environments
- Battery life of up to 5 years
- On/Off switchable encryption
