Description
The RS-485 to USB Serial adapter converts RS-485 communication protocol to serial communication protocol using a half-plex wiring configuration. Care should be taken on proper wiring to prevent communication errors. Use one twisted pair specifically for A and B and one twisted pair for ground. Always configure the LS2400 Network as daisy chained serial network. Never use a star configuration when configuring an LS2400 network unless an RS485 Hub is utilized.
