When the AC-425IP-B is expanded with a MD D04B, it can support up to 8 readers on one 10/100 Ethernet port. Up to 32 AC-425-B controllers may be connected on Rosslare’s RS-485 serial port for a total hardware network of 256 readers on the serial bus. This professional-grade access controller has advanced online and offline logic capabilities, using non-volatile memory in case of total power loss.
